Event Details

Hello, Bishop Watterson High School’s Development Department is excited to invite you to participate in our Pickleball Social Event!

Date: January 10th, 2026
Time: 6:00pm-10:00pm
Location: The Pickle Shack (3218 US-42, Delaware, OH 43015)

First come, first serve up to 120 registrants.

What does my registration cover?

Play, sandwiches, snacks, and soft drinks.

The full bar will be open but operating as a cash bar. Alcoholic drinks are not provided.

What is the format?

Our goal is to get as many matches as we can for you and your partner. This year will not be a round robin, but more of a open court style play format. The facility will open it's doors to all particpants for a great night of pickleball and socializing with the BWHS community. We will divide the facility into two seperate sides based on your level of play and experience.

I don’t have a DUPR rating. How do I know my level?

Beginner = Individuals who are new to pickleball and don't have any prior athletic experience but know the basic rules.

Intermediate = An inexperienced player that knows the rules, can sustain a short rally, understands the fundamentals, and basic understanding of court positioning.

Advanced = Individuals who know the rules and how to play, but really apply strategy and anticipate opponents' shots. The player understands everything previously and is also able to do the following: Consistently hits forehand and backhand with varying speed and control, serve placement, and strategic court positioning.
