1962-2018 BWHS Gymnasium Floor

Bishop Watterson historic gym floor is being replaced and remaining sections will be sold as part of The BWHS Little Theatre fundraiser.

The shiny maple floor of Bishop Watterson High School gymnasium remembers you:
  • running out of the locker room at the start of a game,
  • attending your first high school dance,
  • watching both your children and grandchildren graduate,
  • seeing the one-time-only donkey basketball,
  • sitting in the north-west bleachers for freshman orientation,
  • participating in the all-school masses, pep rallies, talent shows,
  • playing in the feeder school band concert,
  • singing in seasonal concert choirs,
  • pre-showing for one of 55 school plays/musicals!
Any donation amount to the BWHS Little Theatre is accepted and greatly appreciated!

  • You can be a part of THE GYM FLOOR’S ENCORE: To many, reusing the old gym floor is like preserving a piece of history for the next generation of Eagles and their families. Alums are sure to feel sentimental about the gym and, by extension, the floor, it was the main gathering space for ALL school events ALL THE WAY BACK TO 1962!

  • NOTE: Remaining 'grab-and-go' pieces available while supplies last. Please contact lizodorisio@gmail.com if you would like to secure a general piece of flooring for any donation amount. Please know that sizes will vary.
